"the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar. "I absolutely could not fault anything about our say here. The room was beautiful , cosy and wonderfully unique. The staff were friendly and welcoming and both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Would definitely recommend and would stay again ."
