Just right for a night or 2 stay.

A lovely hotel that we've stayed in a few times before and never had a bad experience or any issues. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast is cooked fresh rather than being out on hot plates for an extended period of time.

Great hotels. We booked 3 rooms to attend a concert at Piece Hall Halifax. A 2nd visit. The hotel is perfect. Good parking. Very clean good room a large bath in my room. Perfect. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, thank you Nichola.

A well presented hotel with really helpful staff.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great and the staff were helpful and friendly. We found the position most suited to our needs, on the outskirts of Bradford.

I have visited this hotel fairly regularly over the last 4 years and I am always struck by the fact it is the same staff, which is unusual in hospitality. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Issues but would still recommend

The room that we were first given was very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time so we were given another room. In this room the heating did not work so we were given a stand alone heater. The up side was that the gentleman on reception did everything he could to resolve these issues which he did to our satisfaction. The breakfast was very nice and the service from the one lady that went round like a hurricane doing everything was first class.

2nd stay

This was my second stay at the Guide Post and, as last time, the people make the place welcoming and warm. Perfectly placed for our needs, the rooms were comfortable although decor is a little dated now. Breakfast was always piping hot and a great way to start the day.
