"The room was modern and clean with a great view of Miller Lake. Unfortunately I did the self check-in, in the dark with rain pouring down and couldn't locate the property for 20 minutes. Lighting on the signage or street number is recommended. A bit of a game-changer that sticks with me is that they don't use a top sheet. I get that people do this at home, but not for guest-use....eew!"

"There was an incident where one of the cleaning staff knock on my door, upon answering she asked if i needed anything, i told her if she could come back in an hour's time which she responded no cos the cleaning staff closes in an hour's time. I told her i only needed my garbage emptied, she told me she was coming, i waited for almost an hour and decided to check whether she was out there. "As soon as I entered the main doors my jaw dropped as I was NOT expecting the hotel to be under renovation(s). Had I known, I would had booked elsewhere. We stayed in room 605. Just above the pool area. The room had a very heavy smell of chlorine to which I got a headache. Upon entering the room there was dust in areas and the fridge was dirty. The toilet seat was stained and there was urine spots under the seat. The elevators were very dirty with stains on the walls and ceilings. I...

"Room 105, door is broken, doesn’t close right, it smells very musty, others in the hotel on the 1st floor was loud, after 1am , breakfast wasn’t cooked and pancakes came out like white bread shape circles..scrambled eggs were slimy..the ham was deli ham fried..we have stayed in this hotel many of years but this will be our last time staying in this hotel..sad the owner let it go down to a 1 star hotel.."

"While I wasn’t expecting anything fancy for the price, I was frightened by safety issues. Electrical sockets were hanging out of the wall with things plugged into them, extensions cords were full throughout the room and guards were hanging off the floor heaters. I would have left and gone to another hotel, but it was late on a Friday evening and we couldn’t find anything else due to sports tournaments throughout the city. You get what you pay for, I guess!"
