"The tv in the room didn’t work and the room was very hot, but the helpfulness of the staff with a different issue more than made up for it! The room was spacious and clean, and the very reasonably priced vending machine in the corridor was useful given there are no other food options at the hotel. The location is central with a big car park nearby, just make sure to pre-book taxis if you need one."

"Not worth the price unfortunately. The beds were made up nicely and comfortable but the curtains have mould at the bottom and the curtain pole isn’t secure so it fell and hurt my hand when I went close the curtains. The bathroom had empty shower gel and soap dispensers. We went out for dinner but on returning the pub door was locked as they closed early. Luckily, a member of staff was still there to let us in and then kindly informed us that there is a back entrance too which we didn’t know...

"The room was very well appointed and modern. However there was a random pill (Advil?) on the floor in the middle of the carpet when we walked in. The walls really desperately need paint. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room had AC which was excellent! Where the property does not do well is the restaurant where basic instructions like needing to order from the bar are not given. More confusing was that if you wanted dessert, you ordered that from the table. Staff never checked in on food...

"We stayed at Driftwood for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The accommodation was comfortable, and the overall stay was enjoyable. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was also very good and provided a great start to each day. "As a solo travel the single room was perfect for me. Small but perfectly comfortable the had thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. All staff I encountered were very friendly and nothing was any trouble. I would highly recommend this place. An excellent 2 night stay."

"Location perfect for Beach, town and Quay. Train station. Staff very helpful and pleasant Room basic, however, it had everything we needed and clean. Bathroom, Shower, bed, wardrobe, kettle with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Food and bar was available if required. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay. Would return."
