Enjoyable family stay

Family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in a Premium Room. Would recommend. Lots of space with 2 separate bedrooms (1 for adults, 1 with 2 singles for children) plus open area with Kitchenette / Lounge / Dining. Enough towels for us all - although no tea-towel and limited cutlery. Buffet breakfast was included and had enough options for us all. Electric charging was available via Pair.se network (via app or phone up if app not available in your country's store). Nice view from room and from breakfast. Very easy and friendly check-in and check-out (not 24/7 though). No room service (although the bar let us take glasses of wine back to our room).

It's a nice hotel with a breathtaking view (if you book a suite with a balcony). However, I was very disappointed by the quality of the juice at the breakfast. I understand that fresh orange juice is an exception in the Nordics, but to serve some strange fluid not even near the orange juice, eventually brewed from some powder, is beyond my understanding. The room was spacious with good ventilation/air conditioning; however, technical staff should make some simple maintenance (at least oil the door hinges so that these do not squeak).

Fint läge men frukosten en besvikelse

Mycket enkel incheckning utanför receptionens öppettider men vi saknade att få information om hur sen incheckning gick till på förhand i hotelsappen eller smset som skickades ut. Var tvungna att ta en omväg förbi hotellet när vi kom till Öland på kvällen för att vi blev oroliga när det inte gick att ringa receptionen och fråga. När vi väl kom fram gick det mycket smidigt. Bra med parkeringsplatser. Frukostutbudet genomsnittligt och det glutenfria utbudet sämre än svensk hotellstandard i övrigt. Gick att få glutenfritt bröd vid efterfrågan men det var också det enda. På de flesta svenska hotell finns det en glutenfri hörna där man kan välja bland 1-2 sorters bröd, eget smör (vi glutenintoleranta vill inte dela ett smörpaket med de vanlig gästerna pga ligger alltid massa vanliga brödsmulor i), egen brödrost för glutenfritt bröd, glutenfri müsli/cornflakes och glutenfria småkakor men på detta hotell fanns inget motsvarande. Fantastiskt fin utsikt från hotellrestaurangen och rummen.

Man slogs av att det var så tyst. Inga störande ljud från varken grannar eller trafik. Det var också imponerande att hotellet valt ett tunt täcke och en tunn kudde vilket gjorde att man kunde sova. Den som ville sova på en tjockare kudde kunde välja det.

Servicevänlig personal, rymligt boende, bra sängar, bra sanitära faciliteter. Restaurangdel och reception uppdaterat och fräscht. Välsmakande frukost med allt man kan förvänta sig. Hade gärna sett att det varit ett rökfritt boende, både på balkonger och uteplatser. Totalt sett ett boende väl värt sitt pris.

Anläggningen var helt okej. Gymmet var smutsigt och trasiga maskiner samt saknades vikter. Rummet levde inte upp till förväntningarna och stämde inte överens med bilderna. Bra frukost. Super bra pizza. Dåligt med racket att hyra för att spela padel, söndriga allihopa. Dåligt utbud på låneklubbor till golfen.

Fantastiskt!

Bodde tre personer i comfort room, som en liten "lägenhet" i radhuset. Fantastisk utsikt över delar av golfbanan och i viss mån havsutsikt. Personalen var mycket trevliga, från receptionen, städpersonalen till restaurangpersonal! Mycket god mat som vi hade bokat i paket, halvpension, och mycket bra utbud till frukosten. Ekerum resort ligger bra till från bron, och nära till Borgholm, lätt att köra in via en annars rätt trafikintensiv väg. Vi valde att spela padel ena dagen, och hoppas komma tillbaka för att uppleva spa:t nästa gång, det var dock tillräckligt nära havet för att ta ett dopp. Kommer definitivt att boka det igen!
