My experience at the hotel was fantastic! The location: magical, with a beautiful view over the Swedish countryside. The welcome: excellent from start to finish, and perfectly flexible with the use of the spa, even though I arrived a little late. Dinner by the young chef, only 22 years old: absolutely fabulous – simple yet highly refined, with fresh local products! And the cherry on top: the owner, Thomas, kindly gave me a lift to Motala station after breakfast so I could catch my 9:34 train (I had overestimated the frequency of buses in the countryside!!). A big thank you – and see you soon, next time with the whole family on holiday!

Överlag mycket bra. God middag och supergod frukost. Smolket var att valmöjligheterna för middag på kvällen var mycket begränsad. Inga något lite billigare alternativ. Detta gjorde att vi 2a kvällen hoppade över middagen och köpte nåfor kallt med oss och åt på rummet. Väldigt dåligt utbud på tv kanaler. Men som sagt var helheten bra.

Mkt trevligt hotel på landet. Samlades här inför resa på Göta kanal. Bra rum med sköna sängar med utsikt över fältmichböngsblommor. God middag, trevlig service. Jättebra frukost!

Liter trevligt hotell, fina rum med sköna sängar. Dock väldigt varmt på rummet och det fanns varken AC eller fläkt på rummet. Jättegod frukost och även middagen på kvällen var fantastisk god. Trevlig personal både i reception och restaurang. Fanns även spa på hotellet men det nyttjade vi inte.

En fin vistelse, nu skulle vi cykla lite etapper längs Göta kanal och hade en utgångspunkt. Var så skönt att komma till lugnet framåt kvällen, då något Spa hann vi inte med denna gång. Dock är information från Hotels lite missvisande det kunde stått att bad och spa är något man behöver boka. Frukosten med hembakat bröd ägg från gården, eget pålägg,fint upplagt, frukosten plus. Många bra detaljer Det lilla men ändå stora i ett underbart format rekommenderas.

För vår del handlade vistelsen inte om spa eller behandlingar. Vi var på genomresa och ville bo på något annat ställe än de vanliga hotellen. Vi upplevde Högbo som personligt, genomtänkt och gästvänligt med ägarnas och personalens engagemang. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka då vi trivdes med det ”mindre och lugnare” sättet att bo.

Vi hade 4 trevliga nätter på detta perfekt belägna hotell längs Göta kanal cykelled mellan Motala och Borensberg. Bra parkering, elbilsladdning och verkligen serviceinriktad personal. Kan verkligen rekommenderas.

Hög kvalitet men saknar det lilla extra

Tyckte det var bra men i den prisklassen har jag lite högre förväntningar på detaljerna, så som exempelvis riktiga glas på rummet och inte plastglas. Det är flera såna smådetaljer som saknas så därför är betyget 4 och inte 5
