Excellent Hotel!

Great location, expansive lawn surrounds with a view of the lake.. Friendly, helpful staff too. Menu had enough choices for our group and the beer and wine selection was extensive. 10 stars :)

We had a great experience, the room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. We needed a late check-in after 10pm and the staff were very helpful over the phone to accommodate this. They even made sure the heater was on to warm the room before we arrived. Perfect place to stsy with the family if you're going to Mt Buller!

While the location is convenient, its facilities and cleanliness is below standard; yellow stains on some towels, some winter blankets smell of urine and staff are friendly but can’t help if you need a box of tissues since there’s none in the room.

Location was great - right next to a lake. Beds were very clean and comfortable, each bed had electric blanket. Staff were friendly and ready to go the extra mile. Plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, Milo, cereals etc in the room. They sent a microwave oven and an extension power cord to the room within minutes we requested. This is the only affordable accommodation I found for our group within 1 hour drive from Mt Buller. The comfort and service we got exceeded our expectations. Great value for money - Highly recommended.

It's a nice place if you're looking for accommodation closer to Mt Buller. The Restaurant has some nice food. The rooms need to be refurbished. The room we stayed in had no cupboard or place to put the clothes away. The plug points are located at strange spots - there's no plug point near the table that houses the kettle and toaster. Also the bathroom needs to have an exhaust.

It is a motel accommodation it is clean and tidy the bathroom was well appointed and renovated. It was great to have the pub and bistro on site. The staff were friendly. We love the serenity…lol from the Castle. The area around is lovely. We were only there one night as it was close to where we were picking up our new puppy.

We stayed overnight on the way to Mount Buller. We arrived late and Rory had put the heater on for us and left the key where we could find it. It was clean and very pleasant. Also really liked that there was cereal and milk in the cupboard and fridge for breakfast. Very good, basic and clean accommodation. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Would definitely recommend it.

Great overnight stop on the way to Mt Buller. Friendly staff, spacious room, shower and bathroom compared to other motels. 80’s decor but very clean and well presented with little extras I didn’t expect. Good job Bonnie Doon motel
