Bien
It was like an oases after a long day of bad roads, driving from Sani Pass. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was the best bed on our whole trip. The only thing that needed some attention is the hot water tap at the basin, it is loose. The food was outstanding and the service very good.
Our stay was fine, it was just a pity we couldn't stay together as a family. My daughter and I had to sleep in one room and my son and husband in another room.
Steile Passstraßen in sehr gutem Zustand.
The trip and stay was out of this world. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

It was the worst that I have ever experienced.
The room was advertised as an en suit room while when we arrived, there was common toilet area. This was not as it was advertised and we needed our privacy.
You get a better rate booking online, the hotel has a nice setting and a very good restaurant. Some of the staff is more helpful than others, generally this remote place has a relaxed atmosphere. The fact that there was no electricity from 6 to 6 o'clock cannot be blamed on the Hotel.

Zuvorkommender Service. Eine gute Adresse!
Really needs some tende loving care.
However the food was very good.

Katse Lodge Great but can be better
Katse Lodge is well located and affordable. The staff are excellent and the food is great. The restaurant setting and atmosphere is enjoyable and relaxing and the views from the lodge are breathtaking. The negatives are as follows; the carpet in the suite was old and stained, the DSTV was not paid for, there was no WiFi, there was no fridge or microwave in the room, and the building looked old, outdated and neglected both inside and out. Overall I would rate Katse Lodge 3 out of 5 merely due to the old infrastructure. I would have been willing to pay significantly more money if the rooms were "nicer". The staff and the food more than made up for the shortcomings though. Iam looking forward to visiting again soon.

Charming & comfortable
The building is old and in need of some "TLC", but the rooms are comfortable and warm, with warm water every day, the whole day, despite the heavy snowfall in the area at the time of our visit. The staff was amazing, accommodating and very friendly. If you are looking for 5-star luxury, don't go there, but if you are looking for local hospitality, great views, good food and friendly staff, Katse Lodge is the place for you!

Nice view from the terrace and even from the window of your room. The staff is nice and helpful. The best place to stay in the area. The rooms are clean but lack of personality, the bathroom is quite unappealing, I think this place must have been an hospital before. No real choices of tv channel if it is your thing.
Simple breakfast but quality was okay.
