"We went to Derry to learn about the old and more recent history of the city This B and B is situated just north of the old city walls offering easy access to the Peace Bridge, Guild Hall, local tours and nightlife We were very happy with the location and our hosts cooked up a wonderful Irish breakfast to ready us for a day of exploration - finding parking on the street right in front was easy"

"The breakfast was very good, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is a short walk from all shops and cafes."

"actually, there was a misunderstanding so I ended up staying at their sister B&B, serendipity. I was very placed. Location was excellent."

"Staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Property was centrally located to the Derry experience."

"ทำเลดี อยู่กลางเมือง อาหารเช้าดี ใกล้ที่จอดรถสาธารณะ"

"Everything about this hotel was excellent - the staff went over and above when we had trouble with our rental. The breakfast offered was great - everything you need to start your day. The only downfall I can find is that there was no parking on site. The parking was in another building (only a short walking distance) but it was another fee to have to pay."

"Lovely hotel, great staff and location. Drink and food prices are very good. Will be back."

"Very central, friendly staff."

"Loved the area, it was very walkable. The room was clean and a good size. Appreciated the free parking option but it was a little difficult carting 4 bags of luggage from parking to the room, then up the stairs."

"Our room was lovely and just what we needed. The staff was helpful. The only drawback was that they were doing construction and the parking was not right at the hotel. We had to go around the back and up some stairs to park in an adjacent lot which wasn’t very convenient when it came to our luggage. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back another time. There are dining options inside the hotel that you need reservations for. We opted to walk across the parking lot and go...

"Bathrooms smelled like mold. Mold in the shower. Very dirty. Carpets were very old and dirty."

"Clean room"

"It’s worth visiting Derry just to stay at The Lawrence; it’s a gem with lovely ambience and wonderful staff. David’s walking tour is a must, and the delicious breakfast was served with a smile. Don’t miss the best porridge you might ever eat! Complimentary beverages and snacks, comfy common areas, and a literary theme throughout - it’s through and through charming. Thank you!"

"Convenient location. Parking car a bit of an issue but worked something out in end."

"The staff were amazing- went above and beyond to help and were very friendly Room was so comfortable and cozy. Also snacks available !"

"Soon after my father's unexpected passing we contacted the hotel with a request for a refund.  We sent several messages and left a phone message explaining the circumstances and that we had to fly home.  We eventually received a message stating that they would not refund our stay even though there was 2 weeks to re-rent it to someone else.  We understand that it was within their rights to not refund our money. Our experience though was that each and every hotel besides this one had compassion...

"We had a lovely stay the room was spacious and clean, all the staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly! Great food in the bar and a good breakfast selection…we would be very happy to stay in the Everglades again."
