"Stayed here over the bank holiday as a family of 4. The hotel itself is nice and the outside space is green and relaxing. However, we were given a very hot top-floor room during 28°C weather, with no air conditioning and windows that barely opened. The fan provided did not help and none of us could sleep. "We had a one night dinner, bed and breakfast stay at this pretty old coaching inn in the centre of Midhurst. The room was comfortable and clean, the pool and spa were excellent and the staff were helpful. While the quality of the food in the restaurant was good, unfortunately the service at both dinner and breakfast was poor, and we had to chase our desserts at the evening meal and had a long wait for our cooked breakfasts the following morning. However, this didn't spoil what was a relaxing...

"Extremely dog friendly, loved that the dog friendly rooms opened onto the courtyard garden (enclosed). The walks are beautiful/ stunning. Dogs welcome in the restaurants. Highly recommend."

"IT was a fine place, but a disaster with the patron laundry, as it flooded and didn't work and took me hours to get one wash cycle done, I asked for a comp breakfast to make up for it, and they did not oblige. Kind of uncool."
