The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"My only observation was breakfast. The line was long and very slow and the food almost gone , even though still early (around 7:30), so by the time we got to be served there was not much variety of food and we could only choose one kind of drink, if I wanted juice I couldn’t have a coffee afterwards. But other than that everything was perfect. Staff were very nice and friendly. The shuttle’s crew very polite and on time every time."
"Our room was directly next to two train tracks which were very busy all night - made it quite difficult to sleep! Also the open concept bathroom right next to the door is disconcerting if you are a private person. "
"Everything worked well, was super clean, comfortable, and fresh. The parking lot is large and doesn't have any tight, shady, or badly paved spots. Also, it's located close to shopping & dining but not slammed up next to any of it."
"The AC was working well. The sheets were clean but almost thread bare. There is only one elevator for the 4 story hotel. The elevator looked run down. Breakfast was ok. It was the absolute worst coffee. They put a 357.00 " hold on my credit card in addition to the 513.00 I was charged for each room. It was still being "held" on day 3. This hotel is old and has been refurbished. I would stay there only if I couldn't find anything else."
"Good location to university and downtown. Not a place a would stop with the wife. Questionable patrons staying next to us and hanging out downstairs. But excellent price for the evening. "
