"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and every member of staff was incredibly kind, welcoming and professional. A special thank you to Alper, who introduced us to the hotel and looked after us so well—he is an absolute genius! I would also like to mention Bermal, who works in the restaurant. Her service was exceptional, and she made every experience feel special. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return in the future. Highly recommended!"

"Five nights, and I barely left the property I’ve been to Bodrum before and planned to explore. Instead I stayed at Oku almost the entire time — that’s the most honest thing I can say about it. (I loved it that much and also the fact that it’s adults only!) Every room faces the sea, and the sunsets from the terrace are the best I’ve come across anywhere. The design is boho-Japandi and, being brand new, everything is immaculate. The gym is exceptional and I used it daily; the complimentary yoga and the daily activity calendar meant there was always something to join, which makes it unusually easy as a solo traveller. The food is the reason I stopped going out. Breakfast is among the best I’ve had at any hotel, with genuinely good artisanal coffee, and Chef Muhammed made dishes for me personally more than once. Sude behind the bar mixes the best cocktails on the property. Begum at breakfast greets you like she’s pleased you’re there. Yasin, Can Caglayan and Zafar run the restaurants at a level you’d expect from far older, more established hotels — all clearly from serious hospitality backgrounds, and all actively asking for feedback rather than waiting for it. One caveat: this is a stay-on-property resort, not a base for seeing Bodrum. I did one day out at Gigi and still preferred being back at Oku — which tells you what kind of place it is. Go knowing that."

"Breakfast was excellent. Private Beach access was a great additional offering. We stayed 3 adults, the extra bed provided by the hotel was quite uncomfortable, we had huge back pain. With some small touches, facility may deserve 5 stars easily."

"Overall the resort is very nice, and worth a visit, a few plus’s and minus as follows: We stayed in the hilltop rooms, a long walk from the facilities including 2 external lifts or multiple stairs, across a road bridge, this became quite tiresome. The room was fitted out as expected with good air conditioning, but the cleaning was sparse and we had to request a better clean at times. The buffet restaurant was excellent with a good range of food that changed daily and helpful staff on hand to assist where needed. The pool cafe was not so good, burgers and chips which appeared to be recycled daily so was not fresh and not much else apart from fruit which was fresh. The bars had a good choice of soft and alcoholic drinks and friendly helpful staff. The pool was great, plenty of loungers with good entertainment for everyone, we were the only English family so only one of the staff spoke good enough English to engage with us but that was fine. The evening entertainment was decent but repeated weekly so if your stay is longer there is nothing new. Overall it was a great holiday and we would recommend the resort but ask to be in the main complex."
