"This was a great location, room was nice and breakfast was good. We had a really nice stay. My criticism is the spa rules were not consistent and regimented concerning hours spent as a hotel guest even when it was not busy. I think it is a shame that they don’t have a pool for families. The pool is only used for people 18 years and older. The spa services were not available on the weekend which is surprising during peak season."

"Too expensive for what was actually received with a lot of hidden fees and costs not mentioned in booking (including a tourist fee). The gym is not on site even though it is mentioned in the booking. As a solo traveler, I felt judged multiple times by the staff especially during check in by the front desk receptionist who mainly appeared annoyed I was bothering her when she seemed about to get off her shift (I was asked if I was staying here many more times than the average group of visitors...

"We only stayed one night but after being here I wish we had a chance to extend the trip. The hotel was amazing. The staff were all so kind and helpful and I couldn’t get over how incredible the views were. This exceeded any expectations I had!!! I will absolutely make a point to stay here again in the future and will make it more than one night! Thank you for everything!"

"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

"After much driving, I REALLY appreciated the coin-operated massage chairs with views of the mountains! Also, great breakfast selection"
