"Room smelt damp and musty. Windows don’t open and heating was on full whack when we got there leaving us unable to sleep with the heat, and air con took hours to cool the room down. Breakfast was awful, massive downfall since we were last there 8 months ago. Eggs were snotty, sausages were either not cooked enough or burnt and beans were watered down. Staff had kids running in and out and shouting made it really difficult to enjoy an already terrible breakfast. We left 2 hours before check out on our anniversary away as our stay was awful. I have never complained to a hotel in my life, but I feel it’s necessary for the awful stay we had."

"The hotel was ok. The staff were lovely. There was a piece of rubbish under the chair in our room and a sticky coffee cup mark on the unit by the bed and we had to get out key card reset twice as it stopped working. These things wouldn’t put us off from staying there again as the overall experience was ok. "

"Awful rooms which were not clean, breakfast not great. Staff were lovely though. Had 4 nights booked. Checked out after 1 night & got alternative accommodation. "

"Room didn’t have bedside lighting which meant having find main switch at night. A bit inconvenient. Also no hairdryer on room."

"Our room was , fresh and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of fluffy towels a large flat screen t.v. iron, ironing board etc.tea and coffee and bottled water.Also considering that there is a very busy pub right next door to the building were our room was, it was very quiet and we had a peaceful, comfortable nights sleep. If there was a downside I would say, the internet was not the best speed and maybe some snack packs of biscuits could have been provided for the room price charged, but overall, we were pleased and will stay their again for sure."
