"No cable.. return to property at 10:45 pm the gate was closed. I had to open the gate to enter the property. Pathway to my room was dark. I found this to be unsafe. Overall staff members were pleasant.. property needs to be renovated. Poorly kept."

"Our stay at Polkerris Bed & Breakfast was an immaculate experience for my husband and I. We usually choose the all-inclusive resort option, but recently decided we wanted to support more local businesses and enjoy more authentic, natural food choices. The property is centrally located just a stone’s throw off the Hip Strip— exceptionally comfortable, with a relaxing view of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, featuring fresh, all-natural fruits. Polkerris did not disappoint! The owners and staff were warm, friendly, and kind, making us feel right at home. A special thanks to Mrs. Laura for her generosity in graciously allowing us to receive our grandkids for two hour prior to our checkout time on such short notice due to an unexpected last-minute change in our original plans. We truly appreciate the hospitality and can’t wait to return!"

"This place was perfect. We wanted a not so expensive room for an overnight stay. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very satisfying and not at all costly. The beach is across the street and souvenir shopping was a short walk. Just be careful crossing the street."
