"I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"It was a beautiful place to stay! My son and I did a quick trip to visit Middleburg and attend the VA hound show. We had to leave early the next morning, and they were wonderful about everything! We are planning to come back and stay longer next time! We loved it there!"

"TERRIBLE hotel. The room smelled stuffy and moldy, and there was even mold in the shower. The hallways smelled heavily like cigarettes as well. We brought the issues up to the front desk, and they told us to email the manager. We ended up checking out early and staying somewhere else. After emailing the manager, nothing was done about the situation. I would not recommend this place, and I would never stay here again."

"Staff was pleasant, activity room area was vibrant and full of guests having fun when I checked in. Room was clean, with easy to clean surfaces no carpet which is a plus. Bed was ok but would definitely benefit from having a memory foam topper or better mattress that is designed to prevent pressure points. "Nice accommodations except there was no body wash in the shower, and I didn't notice until I was in there. Breakfast was okay, waffle mix was empty and had to wait until the desk person could get the kitchen worker to respond. The worst part was workers outside near the door smoking."
