"The resort is older but very well maintained, clean and classy with a nice spa area with indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The grounds are beautiful and it's very convenient to everything in Blowing Rock and Boone. We stayed in a lake facing dog-friendly room with a balcony overlooking the pond. It was fantastic, very relaxing and we had our dog with us! The restaurants are wonder; breakfast was a real treat! We'll be back!"

"The property is dated, the room was clean other than the lamp shades need dusted. The front desk gentleman was friendly. Property was kept up and the location is excellent. Within walking distance of restaurants. Grocery store about 2 minutes away by car. I would definitely stay again."

"we had an excellent stay, the room bedding was excellent and cleaning. Also there is one separate sitting area/room which is luxury. The backyard has a patio table with chairs which is neat and peaceful. I liked it very much, it exceeded my expectation."

"Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. Leaves and sticks from the winter had not been picked up. Gazebo with a fireplace is a nice place to hangout. Our fifth visit here and a couple of issues this time. We still like it overall. A nice rate. Likely, we will return. "
