"Hotel was not in the best area of town. Walking back to the hotel at night was quite scary.. The rooms were nice but need a major clean and the king size bed we had was broke so we kept rolling to the center of the bed. Did not make for a good nights sleep. "

"Perfect over night stay after seeing a game downtown. Friendly staff with a quick, no fuss check in. Location was also great. Just outside the hustle and bustle near the stadiums."

"The room was dirty found dust and pills. The front desk was rude on two occasions (same employee). Used to be my favorite place to stay in Detroit but has went downhill."

"Overpriced hotel with terrible parking garage. The locker rooms have no functioning showers with hot water and there are no towels so the sauna is pretty much useless. The hot tub was out of order upon arrival. The thermostat in the room was nonfunctional, the temperature never dropped below 74 degrees even when set at 66, way to warm constantly. The front desk clerk basically was yelling at us across the lobby as we were leaving trying to pry into our business demanding we tell her if we were checking out or not and what room we were in. This place is not worth it, major reason I picked it was for the people mover which was shut down anyways so this stay was just a huge disappointment. Spend your money elsewhere."

"Was really disappointed that we couldn't leave our car parked for the baseball game. Spending as much as we did you'd think they'd let us keep the car in their lot for a few hours after checking out. FYI: when their site says they have "game day rates" for parking that does NOT mean you can pay to leave your vehicle there after checking out."
