"Room cleaned every other day, however this was not stated at check-in. Onsite Starbucks coffee had limited operating hours, opening at 6:30a and closing at 9:30a. Shower had 4 obviously long stands of hair in/around it. Lobby was extremely cold over all 6 days if our stay, and the condensation from the ceiling air vents in the lobby had water dripping from them on one day."

"Had a great experience at Desoto Beach Hotel. Clean, spacious room with a great view of the ocean. The facility staff were friendly and helpful. Access to the beach on site is out of commission due to beach erosion, but there was another access to the beach about 50 feet down. Bring your own beach towels. You will have to call to arrange for chair and umbrella rental. The Deck Beach Bar and Kitchen is a short five-minute walk from the hotel and was quite good."

"Great place"

"Used very hard"

"Nice property. Good size rooms, clean and bathrooms were beautiful. Plenty of space and very functional. Right on the beach so easy access did nice long walks and ocean swimming. Would highly recommend!"

"Really easy access to the beach. Nightly live band, made for an enjoyable evening with ocean breeze made for a fantastic starry night. I recommend spending a few extra dollars for an ocean view."

"Room was better than expected. Helpful staff, Close to all. Only thing needed is a handbar in shower. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel and room were clean. Pool area was well kept and beach was a short walk through the back of the hotel. Activities for kids and adults. They seem to work well at making this a great stay."

"Clean room"

"Very clean room. Beach was very close. Nearby restaurants. Becky was nice and check-in process was smooth."

"Good area and very close to the beach!"

"smell bad the area"

"The rooms carpet was sticky and dirty. The bathroom door looked as though it had been kicked in and the word part was the bed bug. My daughter and I were so disgusted. When I asked for a refund due to the awful experience they refused even though we hadn’t been inside the room for 10min. Then I was sent a message from you saying that you were giving me a $60 refund which is nowhere near the $410 I paid the property."

"Our room has so much humidity I informed the front desk and they did nothing. Blankets were almost wet, mirrors foggy , climate terribly humid in the room When I try to check out a night before because we couldn’t take , then they move us to a different room with the same problem, not us bad as the first room."

"The Staff was Second to None... Great experience Overall!"

"Very central location with easy walking distance to historic district of Savannah. Absolutely beautiful property on the Savannah River. Moss and Oak restaurant food was delicious. There is a well stocked bar. Many places to sit and enjoy the river view or to watch the football games on weekends in the main lobby. Never seemed crowded in the main lobby. It was huge. Valet parking in a covered garage. Room was very clean and a nice size. Comfortable beds."
