"The converted windmill is very nice looking and well fitted out. Car parking is easy in the private car park. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast well cooked and substantial. The staff are excellent - very helpful and attentive, with good local advice."

Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! "What a wonderful B&B to stay at, so close to Thursford Christmas Spectacular show, literally a 5 minute walk away. The staff ( who are employed by Thursford) are so charming and very accommodating with every wish and desire. Everything was spotless and every amenity you could ask for in the room (Ivy). The choice of breakfast ( of which there is plenty) is excellent and cooked fresh to order. Would we stay there again? A resounding Yes and thankyou again to all the Staff who made the one night...

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. "

"A truly exceptional find this little gem of a pub hotel in a beautiful location in Norfolk. Stayed in a cabin and it was lovely, clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast options were very good we had the full breakfast which was excellent, the evening meal was delicious, the pies are out of this world. Can’t fault this pub and can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again. "

"The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
