"Stayed for one night in room 6 with our dogs. Found room large and suitable for us with the dogs also. Went to restaurant in hotel for meal and was able to take dogs there also which is good. Food was a wide choice but all very salty ( I had Beef Bourgeon and husband had Vension casserole ) Found it quite pricey too for a standard meal with soft drinks only. "Plenty of parking. Very unfriendly welcome. Family rooms are across the other side of the hotel from reception so bring bags with wheels. Received all the info about works being done and staff training AFTER our stay, which was very unhelpful. Very understaffed reception, think the boss walked past a few times when there was a queue of 3 of us waiting for 20 minutes. Ridiculous wait time for such a short queue, it was much larger when I left and staff didnt even acknowledge or apologise to anyone waiting. The room was basic, with paper thin walls. I could hear my neighbour using the toilet in detail, full conversations and every slight movement. Not ideal when kids are trying to sleep or not great for your neighbour when your kids are making normal kid noise. Lovely area, lots to do but very disappointing"
