The staff were very friendly. The room smelled damp almost musty, the shower had very weak pressure and the smoke detector was just wires out of the wall. It was fine for one night.

The location was good, 12 mins to Virginia Tech and just a few minutes from nearby restaurants. This was just an average hotel, nothing fancy. Hotel offers continental breakfast, which includes frozen items like pancakes, waffles, sausage biscuits; yogurt, bagels, plus various snacks like granola bars, pop tarts. If you need a place to stay with no amenities, this could be an option.

I enjoyed my stay with my dog. The room was nice and clean. No issues. For a non-football weekend it was very affordable. Decent continental breakfast. Nothing hot, but you could create a hot meal if you wanted one. Close to a lot of good restaurants and within 10 minutes you’re at VT.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean and suitable. The real stars go to the staff, from the cleaning staff to the front desk, they went out of their way to accommodate. Friendly as well as professional. The breakfast was good even though it was continental. Fresh coffee at all times. I would definately stay here again.

I am sorry to say that the photos look much better than the rooms actually are. I was only staying one night so not a huge deal, but it smelled bad and the room was sort of dirty... Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Toilette paper dispenser was rusted, and just not in great shape. The shower was nice and comfortable, as the water was a good flow and felt great. Barring the smell and the disrepairs, it was tolerable, but not what the phots showed or not what the reviews indicated.

I liked that I had to get on the road before the breakfast bar was open, but there was hot coffee, fruit, and frozen breakfast items available to microwave and take with me. The staff was very nice too!
