"We booked here after reading the great reviews and so glad we did. It was a last minute booking as was just visiting the area for the day and decided to stay over. Of course there are so many places to choose from but the price and the reviews were so good we decided to stay here. The room was spotless and had everything we needed and more with an excellent tea and coffee selection in the room. We didn’t have breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. "Lovely welcome. Owner very friendly & helpful. Clean hotel. A few things could possibly do with a makeover or touch up ie carpet on stairs a bit worn but didn’t impact stay. The WiFi/signal was rubbish. However, I don’t go on hols to be on my phone constantly and it wouldn’t stop me going back. "

"Owner really helpful, car parking space very handy for location. We were offered the option of purchasing a full english breakfast which we took advantage of, the food was lovely and really good produce used. We stayed in the lumiere room which was a great price, slight damp smell when you walked in and some of the purple paint needed touching up. I would stay again but book a different room. "
"Beautiful Hotel with very friendly welcoming staff nothing is too much trouble for them. Excellent food 5 stars to the Chefs and kitchen staff. I highly recommend the Coddled Beef Steak to any meat eaters it’s delicious as was all our meals. Added bonus of evening entertainment with lovely chatty bar staff. I will definitely stay there again. "
