"Pictures do not do any justice compared to actually being there. This inn and grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed every moment while we were here. We were able to walk to Main Street and site see along with walking to the public access for the lake. The views of the mountains are breathtaking and the water was perfect for a warm day. Breakfast with the fresh fruit was a great way to start the day. When we come back to the Bridgton and Waterford area, we will definitely be staying here...

"We liked the convenient location to North Conway and Storyland, which was the reason for our stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Downside was lack of quiet. We were on the first floor and could hear lots of running and footsteps above us. Also, the breakfast area is small for the number of guests. We got there at opening, so we were fine, but many guests were waiting for a table to open up."
"Excellent stay! My husband and I loved staying in the Suite. It was clean and so roomy. I suggest bringing chairs for sitting out front or out back. The facility is so neat with a playground and a pool. The staff was great. Had a great sleep too! Close by eating. North Conway not far. We would definitely go back."
"We stayed here to ride our bikes on the presidential rail trail in Gorham and float on the Saco. North Conway is a great place to be close to nature and still be near restaurants and necessities. The Golden Gables was located in a spot that is easy to get in and out of. The grounds and pool were refreshing after spending the day bike riding. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. We were on the first floor so we could house our bikes at night. It was a great value. "
