"Excellent setting and great apart from three minor things. 1. For a hotel this size I would have expected hot drink making facilities in the room. 2. The pillows were soft and lumpy. 3. Evening food menu was very limited, and when ordered it took 50 minutes to arrive, there were no apologies for the wait, and the chips were cold ( not even warm). "The hotel was great - perfect location, 10-15 mins to walk to Lego House, 5 mins to Legoland. The staff were so helpful and the hotel is great - nice amenities, pool, gym, indoor sports room, ping pong table - too many things to mention. The breakfast is comfortably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had too - such fresh food and wide selection. 1 point to flag - the hotel has no air con in rooms and it was hot whilst we were there 30C plus. "I really wanted to like this place! But unfortunately it had too many problems. Started with being greeted by dead bugs on our beds, then trying to sleep on a rock hard bed. But the most frustrating might have been having to pay for electricity, our included electricity ran out in the model of the night so we woke up freezing and to room temp food in the fridge. On the last night we came home to a leak in the hot water tank and had a wet bathroom, so we had to keep the water turned off...
