" A nice hotel in a former hospital"

"Good bed, very quiet, and ability to check in late were positives. The check in with the lock code was a faff, including the need to ask for the code. The lack of breakfast was a major minus, the snack bar did not cut it really. There was also a strange man standing around and hover over my daughter when we were leaving, it really hit home the lack of staff. With the tired rooms, the place felt like a hostel more than anything, and I was glad to move on."

"The location is beautiful and the owner very friendly. We had one of the apartments, which is very spacious. The place is simplistic for a b&b. There was no provided soap and the shover door doesn’t close properly. This was disappointing. "

First of all the blinds didnt go all the way down leaving bright sunlight streaming directly onto the bed. The bathroom was awful after a shower, just like a skating rink. The breeze block step into the building was wobbly. The worst was the electric lead, plugged in, which then trailed across the corridor, and out the front door, twice we nearly went flying when we...

"The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....

"We usually rate a bathroom on the number of safety bars available. Although it seems to be a very new hotel, it could use some bars as there were none. Check-in was interesting and thankfully we had read our email before we arrived. Comfortable beds."
