"Very s"

"From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

"The room is very basic and dark. The bed was very uncomfortable and some of the light switches were falling apart. Service was very poor and the spa was dirty and not maintained. "

Well stocked with tea, coffee and continental breakfast items (The Bell currently doesn’t offer a cooked breakfast). The pub restaurant was epic - fantastic menu with additional ‘specials’ and great desserts. Obviously popular with locals and repeat diners. The pub bar was friendly and a good range of ales on tap. Service was superb throughout and I’d recommend The Bell...

"Room 7 extractor fan not working. Both windows can’t be propped open. No mirror over desk so hairdryer cannot be plugged in near a mirror. Shower floods bathroom floor. All staff tried hard but were overstretched. At breakfast many things were only available if asked for. Evening meals not good value for money. This is not a 4 star hotel. "

"Beautiful room. Lots of space,and soap and body creme too. Shower lovely with shower gel,and shampoo. Breakfast choice was extensive and served at the table. Charming hostess was very attentive, but not overpowering. Would highly recommend it, and hopefully will stay again."
