Absolutely brilliant for the price. Staff are friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, easy checking in and out, and a delicious Indian restaurant right at the back!

You get what you pay for and this was the cheapest room in Birmingham at the last minute. In the dark the area and place looked a bit sketchy when I arrived - especially being a solo woman traveller, but by morning light it was fine. Lovely staff upon check in. Very basic and small room - but clean linen, towels and spotless bathroom. Tea & Coffee facilities in room. Many reviews mention steep skinny stairs which is true, but as i didnt have luggage it was fine.
Perfect place for the night... very central and easy to check in and out. Great price and comfortable sleep, with a bonus of a continental breakfast thrown in
Good location and great value. Room was very small but very clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately there was nowhere to store bags or clothes which made it very difficult to get changed etc as the little floor space there was was taken up by our belongings. Could have done with just some hooks for coats at least, which there seemed to have been at one point but they were missing.
Still a very good option if you need somewhere comfortable to sleep for the night. The included continental breakfast was decent and 10% off drinks at the bar was a nice touch too.
Great value for money easy walking distance to everywhere.
Always friendly helpful staff this is me and my fitness 5th time staying at this hotel and it’s always extremely clean and breakfast in the morning is great.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Initial entry shows the carpets a little grubby and scuff marks all up the walls as you climb the steep stairs.
Uncomfortable 2nd bed in our room as it dipped on one side.
Grade 2 listed building so no double glazing to protect from the traffic noise
Limited choice at break but all options were fresh and consistent.
Awesome friendly & helpful staff
Room clean with fresh towels and plentiful tea/ coffee supplies.
Indian restaurant attached comes highly recommended
Our 3 night stay was fine for what we needed it for.

Budget hotel in great location
Good value hotel, cheapest I could find near the centre and really well located. Great Indian restaurant attached. Friendly staff, sports TV. Didn’t get to breakfast which is included. My room was tiny which I expected. What would have made it better is if the fixtures were all fixed to the wall - hooks, shelves, bathroom shelf and shower were all loose or hanging off - easily sorted one would think. TV didn’t work. However, I would return, the benefits outweigh the niggles and very affordable

I needed an earlier check in as my concert tickets came through late which clashed with check in, but after explaining this i got access to my room early and it saved me missing out. Staff friendly and helpful. Outside was a noisy road but not terrible. Great shower, much needed after a sweaty gig and walk back.
I only stayed one night and had to get up at 4am for a 6am flight bit my stay was nice. Ruby checked me in and she's brilliant!
The pub area was nice and comfortable. I had the room on the main floor since I had a heavy suitcase and didn't want tondrag ot up the stairs.
