Leonardo Hotel Plymouth
10/10 Excellent
"Location: Excellent and walkable to most attractions Parking: Closeby, bit hard to find but a phone call to hotel made it easier to locate it. Rooms: clean and good ambience, justice to money paid Breakfast: Staff very efficient, lots of options, value for money for Breakfast Front desk: Good and coordial staff, helpful. Only improvement i would suggest is when booking breakfast, customer need to come down to pay at desk to avail discounted rate. If that can be either added to room charge to pay at checkout or a way to pay online, it will be helpful. Otherwise, our stay was excellent and whenever we will visit Plymouth in future, we will stay at this hotel. This site was much hetter than other Leonardo hitels we stayed in the UK so far."

The Grand Hotel
8/10 Good
"Beautiful old building, the reception area/bar/lounge areas were fab. A little tasty around the edges....tables literally, but I loved the feel. The outdoor, heated pool was a real bonus....I didn't expect it to be as warm as it was! Only downside, I saw someone spraying the weeds around the Pool & was unable to find out what they used! The receptionist who checked me in was amazingly helpful & cheery. The rest of the staff were very helpful, but there seemed to be an apathy/ underlying issues, which made the staff seem aloof. For a one night stay it was perfect & I would happily stay again. I really hope the staff are looked after so they can give their best selves."

"We booked a delux double room one double bed bay view( balcony or terrace) Dont know where delux came in. The room was dingy, had no fridge, no table on balcony, one bath towel and one hand towel. This particular room was advertised as having a walkin shower, this was why we chose this particular room owing to my disability , shower was in the bath. Also advertised as having an outdoor and indoor swiming pools. Website pics.looked amazing ,another reason for booking this hotel. On arrival found the outdoor pool was covered up and looked as if had been in this state for some time, very unkempt area. On complaining to reception was a waste of time. Totally uninterested ."

"Bathroom is tiny. shower water pressure and temperature were terrible. I asked them to look at it, not sure that anyone ever did. I was told at check in, that breakfast was not included. I showed them on my email that it is, they added it then."

Future Inn Plymouth
8/10 Good
"One criticism is the bedding in the rooms. I’m not very good, specially the pillows could be a lot better. There was no Support in The pillows but apart from that, I’ll tell is quite good. I recommend it for the weekend in Plymouth."

Copthorne Hotel Plymouth
8/10 Good
"Easy walking distance to Plymouth Train Station, and within walking distance of the waterfront area. Good towels/linens. Decent room size. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are NOT air conditioned and the windows barely open two inches. There is a ceiling fan and a small electric fan however. Wouldn’t want to be there during any kind of heat wave."

"Initial meeting at reception was very jolly and helpful. Our room wasn't too far away, but getting a parking space nearby was nigh on impossible. Signage to say you're allowed to drop-off/pick-up would have been appreciated. There was two conferences going on when we arrived, about an hour before the official key collection time, so we had a look around at the facilities, which was what you'd expect with a spa/pool etc. My husband booked to play golf, but gave up after 9 holes as unfortunately people were not playing to the standard he is used to. It was exceptionally busy, maybe too overcrowded. We had some food in the bar/café. It was simple fare, not a huge choice, but enough hot and cold items at a price on par with other places. The room itself was near to the reception area. One bedroom with a pull out sofa (very heavy!) and a wet room, at my request. You had to walk through the bedroom to get to the toilet, so not great being interrupted. The cooker was temperamental - I couldn't get the thermostat to work for the oven, no basic instructions for the function dial. No dishes/bowls for microwave use. Not enough baking equipment (one metal tray, one Pyrex dish, three saucepans and a frying pan. Just enough cutlery for the number of occupiers. Same with bowls, plates, cups and glasses. In summary, we had stayed there because of a new golf course for my husband to try and the nearest accommodation to a wedding we were attending."
