"What an amazing host Margaret is. I checked in with my friend and we stayed in the gallery apartment which was super clean and tidy and had very comfortable bed in and also lovely living space and large flat screen tv. She also let us stay a bit past check out as my friend was unwell during the night. Super kind host. Definitely stay here!"

The check-in procedure was old-school (all paper/pencil) and done by the same employee trying to seat people at the busy restaurant so the process was a bit harried. "Wouldn’t recommend. We’ve had several hotels throughout the years. High end, low end and everything in between including several in this price range. This one is tied for bottom place. I don’t like giving bad reviews but this deserved one. We booked this for a couple of months prior to arrival. It took a very long time checking in, granted I think she was new and still learning. "Everything about our stay at the Magnolia Inn was perfect. Our host was so helpful, everything you want and expect for worry free travels. We discovered new villages and beaches nearby. Mahone Bay itself is so beautiful and entertaining, a great location to launch from for day trips. Weather was perfect."
