"This hotel was in a great location to easily walk downtown or hop on the freeway to head further out. Our room was clean, had everything we needed, and felt pretty spacious for the two of us. Just a note - our room did face the hotel across the street and if you don't have one of the shades down, you can see in their room and they can see in your room. The mattress wasn't our favorite, but that's a personal preference. Parking was generally readily available in the hotel lot ($25/day self parking) during the week, but it got pretty crowded heading into the weekend. The front desk staff was fantastic, always kind and friendly. We had a couple questions during our stay and each time, with different staff, they were super helpful and went above and beyond to take care of us. We had a week-long stay and had breakfast on-site 3 days of our stay as a quick option before heading out on adventures. It was great! Wonderful service and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We also tried the rooftop bar for a light dinner one night and were a bit underwhelmed. The views were nice, cocktails were good, but service was slow and we didn't feel the food was worth the price. Perhaps we just caught a bad night, others seem to love it. Overall, we would stay here again if we ever return to Asheville and would recommend it as a great option for others."

"Shower had low water pressure. Our refrigerator was leaking for our entire 4 day stay. The rooms are small and do not have a microwave. I do not think the price is worth it."

"Clearly the property is aging. It's well kept with newer decor but the basic infrastructure is clrarl deteriorating at least in the rooms. The conference center has clearly been updated more recently."
