"Very clean, modern and comfortable. Had an issue with shower temperature (no cold water) and e-mail reply from booking was very late and less than helpful (turn knob and leave on cold - really??). Fortunately maintenance person was onsite and immediately fixed the problem (clogged filter on cold water line)."

"We stayed for few days, it was a nice experience, very helpful staff. Breakfast was great, so was our room. The coffee bar was a nice touch as well. I think partnerships with activities surrounding your hotel might be a good idea (Groupon?) moving forward, to improve the guest experience while they stay here. Overall 5/5."

"The room was gorgeous in every detail, the owners have a great sense of style and they know how to create a comfortable experience. The location was great for convenience, shops and food in a nice little town, especially if you’re driving from Peggy’s Cove, stopping in Mahone Bay, then on to Lunenburg and beyond. The sauna was also a nice bonus. A friend of ours who lives in Halifax recommended we have dinner at Betty’s on the patio, and we were able to walk there in about three minutes from our cabin. The food and service and garden patio were delightful. Highly recommend Black Forest Cabins if you need a place to stay in Mahone Bay. The photos provided by the owners are accurate down to the small details."
