"Great place to stay, beautiful views. Was provided ear plugs, wasn’t sure why, then we found out the next morning. People upstairs walking was loud, so we figured that’s what the ear plugs were for. Other than being woken up at the crack of Dawn we actually really loved this place! Will definitely come back but will get a cabin next time to avoid the loud noises!"

"Overall stay was nice, down side was the room i was in had a really loud A/C system like something rattling inside and the surrounding trim was not flush with the wall, looked broken. It was really hard to fall asleep due to the noise. At checkout i mentioned it and there was no attempt for compensation. Other than that the balcony area of the room was a good spot for morning coffee and fresh air to start the day."

"Front desk faces Moonridge and is open until 5. Kameron was helpful. Parking spaces are not large, consider driving a medium SUV or a smaller vehicle when you stay here. Slow down; easy to overshoot the two entrances from Moonridge. I stayed in the Crabapple room that faced the main road. While I felt safe, I did not want to open the window due to road noise. No fridge, microwave, or closet in room. Attractive decor throughout; it looks a bit overwhelming on the photos but is quite relaxing. The staff confirmed that the owner has a clear vision of what the decor should be. A couple had a wedding on the Saturday; they and some guests stayed overnight. It was good to see some of the wedding party at breakfast! The Inn could adjust the security light to not switch on whenever someone drives down Moonridge. The road is busy, so the security light stays on until after midnight and then goes on and off."

Tucked away on a beautiful, pine-shaded three-acre property right off Big Bear Blvd, it offers the perfect balance of a peaceful mountain retreat and easy access to local hotspots. What We Loved: The Authentic Cabin Vibe: The property features charming, 1950s-era rustic cabins that are full of character. Coming back to a crackling fireplace after a long day of exploring is unmatched. Prime Location: It is incredibly close to Metcalf Bay and a short, easy walk to the beautiful views at Boulder Bay Park. Plus, it’s just a quick drive straight into The Village for dining and shopping. Fantastic Property Amenities: The common areas are incredibly welcoming. There is a great seasonal outdoor pool, a playground, and horseshoe/basketball areas. Hanging out by the outdoor firepits under the market lights in the evening was a major highlight. Pet & Family Friendly: It is a remarkably wholesome, family-owned place where you can tell generations of people have made memories. The fact that it’s highly accommodating for dogs makes it a true complete family getaway. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed.
