Das Hotel ist super gelegen für eine Übernachtung in der Nähe des Wadi Bani Khalid und der Wüste. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sehr sauber und eher spartanisch eingerichtet. Aber das genügt völlig für eine Nacht. Einzigartig ist der nette Eigentümer des Hotels. Er hat sich sehr individuell um uns gekümmert und abends noch eine Wüstentour für den nächsten Morgen organisiert. Den Sonnenaufgang in der Wüste zu erleben war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Das Frühstück war gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Abends konnte man von einer Karte bestellen und alles wurde frisch für uns einzige Gäste zubereitet.

Gute Lage, aber nicht mehr

Das Positive ist die top Lage um bereits in der Früh das Wadi Bani Khalid zu besuchen bevor ab 10 Uhr die Touristenmassen kommen. Das Hotel selbst wirkt steril und ohne Charme, das Standard Doppelzimmer war das schäbigste Zimmer während unserer Oman-Rundreise.

There was nobody at the check-in counter in the morning when we wanted to try to talk about an early check-in. The water is shut off at night and I don't know when it turns back on. It is serviceable -- we were able to get a shower and sleep in a bed. We didn't try the food. It's accessible to Bidiya, al Mintarib, and Wadi Bani Khalid. Near a new highway that is just getting finished as of 12/2018.

The hotel may not be the most charming, but the staff is doing a great job, the food at the restaurant is really good and the rooms are clean and have all you need. All in all the price is excellent for what you get!

Sehr gute Lage zum Wadi und zur Wüste

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Das Personal und der Eigentümer sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit und haben sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Abendessen und Frühstück waren nichts Besonderes, aber völlig in Ordnung. Sehr günstige Lage, wenn man den Wadi oder die Wüste sehen möchte. WLAN funktionierte nur an der Rezeption.

Nothing special. Acceptable for a one night stay. Annoyed that staff insisted on scanning passports when all other places that I stayed in Oman were fine with a copy or just transcribing the information. Wouldn’t stay again.

Comfortable, Clean and Expanding.

The Oriental Nights is a small hotel that is plenty comfortable. We stayed in some new rooms that didn’t yet have WiFi, but it’s available in the Lobby. We received a helpful email ftom the hotel prior to our arrival. If you don’t want to pay the high prices for a desert tour or Wadi tour, then this is an ideal place to stay. The roads to get here ftom Muscat are great. We went on an awesome desert sunset tour. They do have a restaurant but choices are limited. Not really anywhere else to eat close by. We appreciated the friendly staff.

Posizione ottima all’incrocio della strada che porta al wadi Khalid,struttura datata ma che è in fase di restauro e che ha delle camere nuove appena costruite Gentilezza e disponibilità della gestione Ho cambiato programma e hanno soddisfatto le mie richieste... non è da tutti rimborsare dei soldi,complimenti Hanno il ristorante interno semplice ma con discreta qualità a prezzi più che ragionevoli

Great place to stay

When we arrived at the hotel, we've been a bit scared because from the outside it doesn't look great. But in really it was great. As a family of 5, we had 2 huge rooms with bathroom in the new building. They were super clean and confortable. Staff was fantastic too. Very friendly and willing to please us. Best of all... the cheap price we paid for a night in Oman !

günstige Lage für eine Übernachtung zwischen Nizwa und Sur resp. Muscat. Einfaches Hotel, aber sehr sauber mit netten Personal. Am Abend nach der Ankunft oder am Morgen vor der Weiterfahrt kann man eine der schönsten Oasen von Oman, das Wadi Bani Khalid, besuchen, wo man herrlich baden kann.

Value for money

Convenient location where very few hotels are available. Friendly staff, good room, clean. Food reasonable quality, not The Grand Hyatt but we came to visit the Wadi Bani Khalid and get a meal and a place to sleep.

Perfect basecamp

From the outside it appears like a motel, but the beauty lies inside...it is a guesthouse and the boss and his staff are really interested &caring about your well beeing.also they want to know yoyr story! kitchen is good It's all about location as it is a perfect base for excursions, but we found it also relaxing. Note that there is a little garden behind.

Simple room, der pretty large. Staff was friendly, breakfast excellent. Some limitations on Wifi, excellent Location for Wadi Bani Khalid. Hotel also runs rather expensive tours.

A good hotel just outside of city close to desert.

A good hotel just outside of city. They offerd nice dinner and an ok breakfust. The room was nice and quite. Only WiFi was missing! The only WiFi they had was when it shared by the hotelstaff mobile. The hotel was helpful in arrange a desert tour. Highly recommended!

A fuir!

L'hôtel est situé au milieu de nulle part... Excepté une grosse route bruyante! Nous étions les seuls clients ce soir la... Pas étonnant, il n'y a rien a faire sur places. Même pas de wifi, et une piscine immonde de saleté et toute verte !!!!

Not recommended. Dirty and no WiFi.

Nothing to do in the near surroundings. Just a very remote motel. No WiFi provided and there were insects and hair in the room. Somebody left an opened pack of cookies in the noisy fridge. Bathroom dirty and no bathmat. Free parking though. Not recommended.
