"There was a mold in our room due to a leaking fridge which we notified the staff about. The shower took forever to get hot and then it was scalding. The free breakfast was mediocre at best. Nice big free parking lot and gorgeous views and walking trails behind the hotel. Be aware that a freight train comes through in the middle of the night blowing a very loud whistle!! John Deere museum is across the street and many delicious restaurants within walking distance. People were very friendly!"

"When we first pulled in I was a little hesitate on the hotel due to how unkept it looked on the outside. Tall grass dead flowers and garbage. When we checked in the lady at the front desk seemed very tired. She seemed to have been dealing with an unhappy guest. We got our room key and headed for the room. As soon as we unlocked the door we were hit with an obvious cigarette odor. We booked a non smoking room. We called the front desk to let her know we obviously were given a smoking room and her fix was offering air freshener and to open windows. Other than that no issues"
