Well worth a visit!

Fantastic stay at a beautiful Georgian manor house. Robert was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble! The house and bedroom are exquisitely decorated to the highest standard and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious too!

Fantastic breakfast, ( try the porridge) the host was a hoot rooms were spotless beautiful building, only 1 gripe needs aids to get in and out of bath/shower, as I suffer from back problems.overall I give it 10/10.fantastic.

There is no disputing that this accommodation has the Wow factor. It is of the highest standard and kept so by the owner. The location was great for our visit to Berwick as we had our car available. Breakfast was good but had to be ordered the night before and you needed to adhere to the time allocated - so no over-sleeping! Robert (the owner) has high standards and these were appreciated.

An absolutely stunning property with a host that goes above and beyond. Beautiful breakfast options freshly made to order, coffee and home made cake on arrival. We were very impressed and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a little luxury in a short break.

The welcome we received was warm, friendly and very hospitable.Tea and superb, home-baked Victoria sponge were the icing on the cake. Our host was expert in putting his guests at ease. The accommodation was outstanding with an amazing level of quality and attention to detail. Easily the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had.

Robert was a brilliant host very welcoming . The Manor is situated in beautiful settings with stuning panoramic views. The rooms are immaculate and breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Five minute drive from Berwick and Robert gave us plenty of advice on where to eat when we went out. Would highly recommend.

Awesome stay!

Fantastic property and the warmest of welcomes from Robert including coffee and cake. Beautiful en-suite room tastefully decorated. Breakfast was really good with a very decent choice. Would not hesitate to recommend or to stay again if we are back in or near Berwick.

Just perfect

Robert is a kind, fun and consummate host and we enjoyed a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. Loved the cake and tea when we arrived. We had excellent cooked breakfasts with homemade soda bread on china and silver, crystal and linen. Room had everything we could need for our stay. We even cheekily ordered a last minute celebration cake! Can’t recommend highly enough. Mark and I look forward to our next stay.

A perfect stay in a perfect place!

Wow ! What an amazing stay with a perfect host in Robert. From greeting us with coffee and cake to making the perfect breakfast each morning, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and furnishing were pure luxury, so much love has gone into making this the perfect place to stay whether it is for 2 nights or longer. Ideally situated 1.5 miles from Berwick upon Tweed so perfect for visiting so many lovely locations like Bamburgh and Alnwick castles and Lindisfarne. We felt so at home here we cannot wait to return.

Top Notch!

We were pleasantly surprised to to be greeted by our host at the entrance to the property even though we were two hours later than expected! This warm friendly welcome was just the beginning of an overall wonderful stay! We loved our room which was beautiful, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, tea and cake on arrival and a chat with our host Robert, fresh milk provided daily for our hot drinks in our room. First class breakfast and great banter. To have met and stayed with Robert was an absolute joy and he made us feel very relaxed and well looked after in his gorgeous home - we look forward to visiting again.

Edwardian house in the country

Robert welcomed us warmly into his large and comfortable house. The house and our bedroom was decorated lavishly in an Edwardian style. However, the house was cosy and had all the modern amenities. The bathroom was complete with high quality toiletries and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Wi fi was available throughout the property. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of cooked items. The house is in the countryside but close to Berwick-upon-Tweed and with a few restaurants a short drive away. A special mention to Robert who owns and runs this B&B who is a welcoming and open host. Would definitely recommend highly.

Wonderful friendly host and accommodation. Robert, the owner greeted us with coffee and home-made cake. The Manor House has been lavishly decorated by Robert with opulent furnishings. Our room had a huge comfortable bed and in the big bathroom I made use of the luxurious deep roll top bath. There was a great choice of breakfasts made with good quality food, we had delicious pork and apple sausages and creamy scrambled eggs! All served with different types of home-made bread and scones on a table laid with linen cover and napkins, silver cutlery and china plates. Generous and unique sums up this house and Robert. My husband and I only stayed two nights before returning to our Scottish home and I hope we can stay longer the next time.
