Stay here while you wait for the tide!

This was my final overnight before hiking to Lindisfarne. The Eat and Sleep Hostel was very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Good location. Right on the A-1. Café on site and a restaurant/pub next door, plus a garage. It only took me about an hour to hike to the beginning of the causeway to Lindisfarne. This was a great place to stay while waiting for the tide!

We needed a well placed no frills base for a few nights. We were able to park our motorbikes easily and safely. The staff were spot on. Our room was very basic but that’s exactly what we wanted as we had our kit everywhere. The food was good in the cafe and if you wanted there was a hotel a minutes walk that served nice if a bit pricey food. Overall it was just what it said on the tin and was great value.

Modern and clean building with a great cafe on site. Helpful, friendly staff. I'd stay there again.
