"We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...

Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. "Great place to stay with children. Pool was so great and they had reserved slots so one time we used, we were the only family and the next time we used, maybe 4-6 other families but manageable. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Corridors, elevators, lounge and pool/locker area were also clean. Convenient to all city Centre activities, shops and restaurants. Would stay again if we return to Bath. "
