"Very pleasant hotel and lovely owners and staff. An old building with character features but clean and tidy. The room was large with a huge double bed, TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge. "This is a great hotel. The staff are some of the best hotel staff I’ve met. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was huge so big the tv remote didn’t work from the bed. We had a garden room with a balcony looking over the grounds. We stayed during one of the many heat waves this year so the view was more like Africa than Essex. On that note there was no AC in the room. They’d provided fans and an air cooler already when we arrived and the room had a ceiling fan which kept the room remarkably...

"We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience.
