"The location was great. We felt like royals staying in a castle. We were treated like royals as well. The dining experience was great. Breakfast was delicious as we ate at sunrise over the loch. The Christmas decorations were very special. Overall would recommend over and over"

I was disappointed to hear that they’re stopping food in the hotel as the food was good and it will only be continental breakfast although the pastries were lovely but when you go away a cooked breakfast is always good the next morning."

"We have stayed here a couple of times now and love it here. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with some of my favourite toiletries in the bathroom and Tunnock biscuits for a snack. Breakfast is hot and tasty with cereals and a varied choice for breakfast from a full Scottish fry up to pastries, French toast and porridge to name a few. I chose the pancakes with banana and syrup and there were devine. Plenty of tea and coffee too. We had lunch on the Friday prior to checking in - fish...

The only downside of that was when the spa opened you could hear voices outside, especially when the spa opens early in the morning. The shower was great and bed really comfy. "I've been here a number of times for work and it's my go-to place if I'm working in that area. It always feels really chilled and the restaurant is excellent with a range of Scottish and seafood dishes and delicious vegetarian options too. I'll definitely be back again. "

"The hotel, location, staff, facilities and services were all first class for our two night stay, as should be expected at a five star. Our room in the Auld Hoose, was exceptional, with complimentary mini bar and snacks, full satellite TV, roll top bath and beautiful furnishings.
