Management wouldn’t fix our toilet, no towels in room or pool area. Tv wouldn’t work, management said deal with it or leave. Pool and hot tub filthy. Room extremely dirty, bed broke down. Had to sleep on top of the covers because it was so dirty. Front staff has no idea what they were doing. Said they were going to fix things and never did. Place should be shut down.

It was absolutely disgusting. The room was so filthy you couldn’t walk on the carpet. Hairs and fecal matter all over the toilet. No hot water to take a shower. “Clean” sheets had hairs on them. Trash on the floor. Hot tubs were broken. Overall it was disgusting and disappointing. Don’t stay here.

The front desk worker was completely rude, not polite at all, didn’t even list the amenities or anything. The first room we check into smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Then we got moved to another room that had no pillows, towels, the hide a bed didn’t work, and the room hadn’t been vacuumed. We stayed because it was so late, and when we asked for towels and pillows, the front desk staff greeted us with “I don’t know if we have any left” the next morning, we checked out a night early, and the night auditor was rude and didn’t try to accommodate us in anyway for the issue. I called and spoke to the morning front desk agent, and she was very polite, offered me 1/2 off my rate and apologized profusely and offered us an upgrade if we stayed again. She was the only positive part of that place.

To start we had been given 4 different room before we settled on something less then what we reserved months ago. One bed less then what we needed. Then we were given all our own towels and bedding to make our room up ourselves. Coffee no cups. One bed had no blanket. Thankfully we brought a car blanket. Pubic hair and stains in the one bed that was made so we had to sleep on top of the covers. The room hadn’t been vacuumed. No toilet paper. We tried to book elsewhere but because of the local activities we had no other choice but to stay. No towels for the pool. Hot tub was down. Rec center toilets we covered in poo. Worst experience ever.

Great location near a scenic river park and close to the Mackay Cottage Restaurant a great place for meals. The room was okay and the gas fireplace was nice. Had to ask for toiletries since the room was not fully filled.

When checking in… the attendant was in a back room… we could see him sitting there, but did not come out to check us in. After several minutes I finally said “hello” and he finally came out. He got us checked in and let us know that our room was missing a towel, but that someone would bring one to us. We arrived back to our room quite late in the evening and no towel has been delivered. We drove back up to the office to get the towel we were told he had to go to the laundry room and would bring us a towel. About 30-40 minutes later still no towel had been delivered and we were wanting to head to bed, so we had to call the office. He said there are no clean towels only pool towels. And we said that was fine, because we needed towels to be able to have showers in the morning. The rooms are very roomy and have nice qualities, but the carpets were terribly stained, there were no tissues, there was a lid for the in room coffee cups, but no cup, the back patio was nice and right along the river, but one of the chairs was broken. We have had a terrible experience in this hotel before a few years ago … being under a room where a party was taking place and they couldn’t quite them down and we couldn’t sleep all night. We left that time very early in the morning and had forgotten my camera bag and they failed to notify us and when we sent our daughter after them they tried to claim they couldn’t find them. The room was filthy. The pool was dirty. The weeds were so high you had to side step out the patio door. When I checked in I was told the kind bed I reserved was not available, this hotel was not booked by any means. When I checked out the front desk person had a kitten walking on the counter, while cute hardly appropriate. It’s sad how down hill this place has gone because it’s a nice location and has great size rooms.

This place needs some TLC. Could use some repairs and updates. I chose this hotel because of its brand name and affordable price for the area. And, the online photos make this hotel appear much nicer than it is. Upon arrival, there was no tissue and very little toilet paper. I went to the lobby to get both and was told they ran out of tissue. One soap bar for both the shower & sink!? Those are little things, but add them to the poorly maintained property and outdated room, and it left an overall negative impression.

Check in went fine. Friendly staff. Got to our building and the stairs leading up to the room are threadbare, the carpet outside is very old & outside of our room 114, it definitely had some water damage, carpet is brown & gross. Card lock entry. Rooms are spacious. We were over looking the outdoor pool, i.e.duck pond. There is an indoor pool also. Went to put things away in the fridge and it was moldy and had an old ice cream box in the freezer. The fridge was warm, so we couldn't put our food away. Had to call the front desk to find out where the ice machine was, there are a few scattered through out the buildings, not one of them worked. Called the front desk again. They sent someone to Fred Meyers to get ice and brought us about 3 cups of ice, not nearly enough to put in a cooler for our food. It took about 15 minutes of running the water full blast in both sinks to get luke warm water. The last day we were there we couldn't get hot water in the shower at all. We had a dog with us, there were no poop bags at the dog stations, all were empty. This is minor,but the lighting in the room was awful. The lamp had a layer of grime on it I couldn't scape off. The beds were comfy & I chose to believe clean. Told the front desk about the mold in the fridge, someone was suppose to come and clean it, they didn't. We ended up cleaning it, and it finally got cold after the second day. We had baseball tournaments all weekend & had to time or energy to keep going to the desk.

I usually don’t write reviews on anything but… We were here this past weekend and it was a mess. To their defense, they were full. But unfortunately our experience suffered because of it. We got there and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. The carpet was dirty like it wasn’t vacuumed and the fridge was very dirty as well as every cupboard we opened. The toilet paper roll had zero paper on it upon arrival. We only had a sheet on our bed so we walked down and asked for a blanket. They said ohh no! We will make a note of it, I don’t know where any are. So first night with no blanket. We stayed 3 nights. Day 2 came, went down asked again. They said they would have a housekeeper bring one. Night came, no blanket. So we walked down again and asked. The man found one and we asked for a couple of towels. No towels. He gave us a few hand towels. And said housekeeping would bring us some. Long story short, we never got any towels and had 2 for 4 of us for 3 nights. The room the ice machine is in is so hot it wouldn’t make ice. The upside, was it was fairly affordable. There is a coffee machine, but there’s no coffee pods available there. We brought our own, but they weren’t the same as the coffee maker in the room. We wouldn’t stay here again based on this experience.

When we checked in they told us the maids had quit and they recommended we check our room. There were pubic hairs in the tub, no soap, towels, cups, carafe to coffee pot and missing pillow cases. We were promised a 50%discount for inconvenience as there were no other rooms available and Expedia had charged me.

I’ve stayed here many times now and will continue to come back. It’s a great bang for your buck. They are very short staffed right now though. The check in line was super long, but it was also a holiday weekend. We had one roll of TP, 2 towels and no tissues. The pool also had no towels. The staff is amazing and doing all they can though.

Shabby hotel. Very poor housekeeping and maintenance. Parts of our room were dirty, empty Kleenex box and incomplete coffee service plus a dirty coffee pot. One bed didn’t even have a blanket. Dirty patio with weeds around it. Sad and seemed like was on the edge of going under. Will never stay here again.
