"I loved it"

"Not there very long. Wife not well and left for home."

"The friendly hosts and the elaborate, tasty breakfast were the highlights of our stay here. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower set-up on the clawfoot tub reminded us of our first home and were fine, but a grab bar to help getting out would be helpful. The gardens were pleasant. The outside of the building was a bit tired and worn looking; I'm sure upkeep on such a large, historic building is tough."

"The staff was lovely but the room was very unclean. Stunk of cigarettes and there was burn holes in the bedding. Empty alcohol bottles and cans everywhere. We left immediately. The staff was lovely and looked defeated. My heart goes out to them but I couldn't stay there with my immune compromised husband and children "

"Office is only monitored M-F business hrs. So not sure how to communicate after hours? We arrived late on Thursday and were not in the room we booked. Dealt with that issue in the morning on Friday and it was quickly resolved and our parking space was moved to a secure indoor parking space once they noticed we had bikes. We were happy that we were there during business hours. Unsure what would have happened if this was on a weekend. There were no elevators in either building. If you have...

"Convenient location, safe, and clean."

"Overall we were happy with our stay. The bathroom however in our room definitely needs an update. It’s old, shower doors need replacing (rusty frames) and the toilet is extremely low to the floor"
