"What an incredible place! Situated just beneath the city of Paterno but in the beautiful and quiet country you have an amazing view of the Etna. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.The food is just delicious (try the pesce spada) and Signora Maria is the kind soul of the place. I will return!"

"The property is very beautiful and the views of the sea from the slope of the Etna are spectacular. Very quiet, comfortable accommodations, very nice swimming pool. The location is excellent, a short drive to the sea and also close to Taormina and Catania, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to go back for a longer stay."

"The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "The property is lovely, lots of flowers and a very nice pool and sun deck. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed. We had dinner there and were very surprised at the quality of the meal. Breakfast was very nice and the service was great. We recommend il Borgo!"

"We booked a last minute trip and were treated like royalty. They went out if there way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The food was magnificent. The beds are firm, and there is no ac during dinner, but otherwise i would highly recommend. Claudio is fantastic "
