"Great hotel in a fantastic location for the city and train station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The ladies on reception made a real difference by leaving my boy sweets whilst we were out due to him missing out on trick or treating. Will definitely be back again"

"Very comfy room, with a hot shower. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps providing pleasant lighting, with armchairs to loll in and read. Quite a grand building, with interesting decor throughout; paperback books in shelves. Breakfast was very good too."

"This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. "

"Maurice and Laureen were definitely the hosts with the mosts. From check-in to check-out everything was fabulous. You can tell they care about the guests. The room’s decor was just lush, very well maintained and clean like the rest of the guest house. The homemade cookies was a lovely welcome and the hearty porridge for breakfast was a lovely change to the full English (but they do that as well!). Would definitely recommend! "
