KAME HOTEL BELGRADE
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed overnight only as my connecting flight was next day. I selected the hotel based on the distance, good reviews, internet and shuttle to/from airport. I was not disappointed. Even though I did not see that I have to call/send message ahead of time for the shuttle, once I called and asked if I can be picked up they were very prompt. The room was clean, spacious, had nice soft carpet, minibar, snacks, slippers, soft bathrobe, safe and big confortable bed with several pillows and nice white conforter. No close closet but a nice support with hangers which was very useful ( good choice if you ask me). The bathroom was imaculate with shower head and handheld shower , pristine towels with golden embroidery of hotel name on them, the miror above the sink had a motion light, on the right side of the sink there was another mobile magnifier round mirror, there was towel warmer/drier support and hairdrier. There are different lights in the room and bathroom, based on your preference/needs. The room did not have a view but I did not need it for my stay. I was working and used the internet. You can order food and eat in the room or downstairs in the cafeteria. The menu has several serbian, italian and chinese dishes. Breakfast was plentiful and with diverse food and drinks. Too bad I was in a rush to get to my flight. If I will have to stay again in Belgrad, I will definitely try to get a room here. Staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you."

"Hidden gem in knez mihailova. If you are looking for a trip to experience the best of Belgrade- look no further. We were greeted by lovely young ladies after taking a driver from the airport. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel like we come ask them anything! We are right next to a currency exchange which you will need to do for dinars. When buying anything at Kalemegdan Park from vendors, you will need it. Great prices on souvenirs. I was in Belgrade in 1989 & haven’t been back. I was nervous because I came with m husband now and only knew a small amount of Serbian. It was just fine! We went to Divine Liturgy on Sunday at St Sava where I sang with my church family & choir all those years ago. Goosebumps. Everyone knows English. It is nice to know some Serbian phrases as it shows respect for the Serbian people. Our superior apt was our reprieve for naps & our little kitchen to rejuvenate for our adventures to Skadalija. Go to the bakeries. Any of them. The staff will call and make reservations for you anywhere. Americans must relax! Any meal is hours & you need to enjoy the experience. It is worth it. Go to maxi for supplies (just like Aldi but better & busier). You can pay by card in many places as well. Thank you especially to milica & marija. Zivela Srbija! Do sledeceg puta. ❤️🤗🌹"

Five Points Square - City Center

"Location is fantastic. Right at Republic Square and the main pedestrian street with many shops and a market nearby. Public transportation is all right there as well. The elevator is very small and slow but there is one and it is functional. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Belgrade"
