Great location. Car parking and breakfast were free which was excellent. Lyn on the desk was superb so helpful and really made our stay.

The staffs lack communication skills and we ended up not getting our laundry service done. Overall, Lynn was very helpful with our tours and very knowledgeable.

Nous n'avons pas été prévenu que l'hôtel était fermé au public et on nous a baladé vers un autre hôtel lui aussi fermé au public car ils accueillaient des réfugiés... Le troisième hôtel fut finalement celui où l'on a pu dormir. C'est scandaleux que l'on n'ai pas été prévenu et que l'on nous ai fait faire le tour des hôtels bonjour le stress !!!

Having arrived at this hotel on Sun 19th June 2022 I was shocked to discover that the hotel has been closed since February 2022, I received no correspondence notifying me that my booking was changed to another hotel further away

Unaware of relocation and hotel closure
Disappointed as the holiday inn express had been closed the public since 1st may 2022. I was not informed of this until I arrive at the hotel as was told we had been relocated to the holiday inn hope street. Which was great and the service was next to non. However it would have been nice to be told that our stay had been relocated as I made me way to the holiday inn express and told my only way to the holiday inn hope street was a 20 min walk or 7 in a taxi which I thought should have been provide due to being unaware of the relocation.

Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr geräumig und modern. Das Frühstück ist gut und vielfältig. Auch die Lage ist gut und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Leider wurde uns beim Check-In nicht gesagt, dass die Zimmer nur auf Nachfrage gesäubert werden. Unserer Meinung nach in einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht ausreichend, zumal weder der Müll geleert noch nach den Handtüchern geschaut wird. Ansonsten war's gut.

Arrived before 9am and they were able to check me into my room straight away at no extra cost. Good sized room and bathroom, lots of sockets and nice lighting. Slept very well, no noise disturbance from other rooms or outside. Good buffet breakfast and parking included in the price of the room. About a 20 minute walk to the city centre. Lots of nice places to eat nearby. Very good value. Would highly recommend.

Not great value for money
I have stayed in several Holiday Inn’s over the years (usually happy with them) and this was the worst. I stayed at the 2nd floor, and at least there they seem to have a problem with vacuuming and tidiness. Both the corridors and the room had quite a lot of hair in the carpets, and the corridors had on different occasions crumbles and a smashed glass in front of the room doors. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel area is nice. They just definitely need to improve the cleanliness.
