Faites respecter le tarif qu'Hotels.com affiche!

Tout allait très bien jusqu'à la toute fin. Ça a changé radicalement quand est venu le moment de régler la note. On ne voulait pas nous faire payer le montant qu'il nous avait été affiché lors de la réservation sur Hotels.com. Après plus d'une demie-heure de discutions, on finit par accepter mais oups! On nous dit que la machine pour les cartes de crédit ne fonctionne pas. Nous avons dû faire 2 heures de route aller-retour pour retirer assez de liquidités pour régler notre facture. Jusqu'à la transaction, tout était parfait. Comment passer de héros à zéro en 30 minutes!

Tranqulidad y tortuguas

Tranquilité dans un petit village entouré d'un environnement naturel fabuleux pour notre fin de séjour. Nous avons été logé dans une maison, la cabine 4-6 places n étant pas dispo à notre arrivée. Logement du coup spacieux, simple où le nécessaire est là. Randall est un hote sympathique et surtout passionné des tortues qui visitent la playa corazalito. Le matin de notre départ, nous avons pu assister au départ vers le grand large de bébés tortues lora. Un havre de paix.

Quiet stay at Cabinas Corozalito

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms don't have air conditioning and the wifi is finicky. Great for someone looking for a quiet getaway with a propensity for outdoor living.

Nice and quiet place in the heart of Guanacaste.

Muy buen lugar para pasar momentos tranquilos, buenas instalaciones, excelente disposición del personal. Atención personalizada por los dueños, quienes incluso se tomaron el tiempo de llevarnos a ver tortugas desovando. Muy buena experiencia.

Such a good time & place!

All the staff were endlessly friendly. Randall was great & such an expert on the sea turtle beach night walk. The cooking facilities were spot-on & the whole complex was immaculate. A quick 'Hi' to Ocita, the family dog, who was just a cuddle a minute. We'll be coming back!

Great especially for nature!

great hotel , really nice owners and family . If you go you should go to the nearest beach we saw 14 scarlet macaws and monkeys ! Really peaceful . No supermarkets clothe though so if you're planning to cook byo food there are only two restaurants really close by ! Also driving there is pretty intense but definitely worth it

Harrowing ride to stay with new family

Corozalita is difficult to get to, either fording a river and then a long drive over very steep dirt roads, or a longer drive over first paved and then very steep dirt roads. Although we did it in a car (Nissan Versa), during the dry season, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. That aside, this was a wonderful find. A bit of old Costa Rica, the land has been owned by the family for generations and has slowly been developed (and continues to be developed ) into a very nice resort. Cabins had 3 separate rooms, the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in a rental, and 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double and single bed. The rooms are not air conditioned, but very well fanned. Very comfortable at night. The host family was wonderful, drove us around the area, took us on turtle hunts, it was like staying with family. Beach is nice, totally secluded, very turtle active, and less than 2 kilometers away. 3 pools on site, very refreshing. Hammocks and little shelters scattered around. They've planted lots of fruit trees and invite you to eat off them. Opening a new area for breakfast next month. There is a great restaurant just up the street, really the only restaurant. The Costa Rican families staying there had brought their own food and cooked up a storm, they also shared. If you want lots of shopping and entertainment, don't stay here. If you want to get away from everything touristy and experience Costa Rica as it used to be, I recommend this place.
