The Beiji Xuantian Shangdi is a remarkable Taoist temple that resemblesa giant warrior. Built by the Ming Dynasty in the 1600s, the fearsome sculptureremains in remarkable condition after several recent renovations. When you arrive at the temple, stroll along the pier and admireits patterned floor. Appreciate the panoramic views of the lake as you walkthrough ornate arches and past statues.
