Better motels around ..not a 3 and a half star
Very tired establishment, the amount of light displayed in the online photos is not a true reflection.. room was quite dark and lacked strong lighting. Shower had mould and bed not very comfortable. Kettle and toaster not as good condition as shown online. Quiet location, walkable to town and some tourist attractions. . We love Beechworth but would look for somewhere else to stay when returning.

The location is great, everything is in walking distance. Easy check in and out. Two things which disappointed me. The bathroom needs a massive update. The hot water is unreliable and you can heat every tap run in every neighbouring room through the plumbing. The bed and pillows were hard as rocks. The worst nights sleep, waking up stiff and sore.

The motor inn is excellently located on town, a short walk to everything. The owner/manager Brian is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. An easy, comfortable stay.

We rented 2 rooms for one night. The owner, Brian, made an unauthorised charge to my credit card the next morning for $15. When I rang to enquire he said a roll of toilet paper was missing. I have no need for toilet paper and did not take it. He said he would only refund the $15 he charge to my cc without basis if I sent a roll of toilet paper to him. He then hung up. Worst customer service I have had in decades. Avoid this place and man at all costs!

I had a fall ,parked car up top, walking down driveway to Room 16 pitch black dark, Decided to go to footpath, between cars I fell over (hurt leg , ribs and bleeding elbow )the concrete to stop cars..(dangerous being where people walk) I’ve had 2 dr visits and leg still not good…but that is my worry.. My concern is someone else could be worse off.. I would like to see you add some type of lighting to this outdoor area..or/and those concrete blocks placed in front of cars…it was around 11pm when I came in…

The location was perfect walking distance to Billsons, Bridge Road Brewers, local shops and historical buildings. However, the bed was very hard bed and uncomfortable. We had to have the air conditioner on a very high temperature to keep the room warm. At home we normally have ours set at 18 degrees, we had it set at 27 degrees! We paid $165 for an executive room... sadly it was no where near an "executive" level. Sadly we have to say that we won't stay here again.

Absolutely amazing. The partner and I stayed for one night as we were going to Beechworth asylum for a night tour. The accommodation was perfect for one night. The partner proposed in our room. Best night!!

This is a terribly unreliable place. We booked this place 9 days ago and we were travelling from 300 km away from Beechworth, 15 mins before the checking time someone from the motel called and said there was a double booking and no rooms available. This is the worst place to book if you need hazel free accommodation.
