"Lovely location and welcoming staff. Room was clean and comfortable with a great mountain view. The breakfast was excellent and served by an attentive and friendly team. Worth knowing that if travelling by car, it can be tricky to find parking when Keswick is busy although there is free on street parking nearby."

"This is a lovely hotel, with beautiful spacious grounds . The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are all very helpful. It's in a good location close to the village, the only thing I'd say could be improved is the night food , it's basic pub grub ....the breakfast is fine though ."

"Parking excellent, staff excellent very hospitable and pleasant. Bit of a hike up to the room, which had a slight odour to it, not a pleasant one. Faulty plug in the hand basin, water wouldn't drain. I was only staying 1 night so could cope. I'm pretty sure if I'd made a complaint it would have been dealt with as the staff were very attentive. Would I stay again? Yes. Literally a 15 minute drive to where I needed to be in the national park, plenty of restaurants/shops in the town centre which was a few minutes walk away."
